Francis D’Haene is a Belgian-born, New York City-based architect and designer who founded D’APOSTROPHE in 1996.

Architects from Studio D’Apostrophe Design worked on the interior of the apartment on the Left Bank in Paris. The project was named “La Vie Parisienne” (Parisian Life).

With a residential and commercial focus, his design studio specializes in architectural, interior and furniture design. D’Haene’s discerning clientele includes design homeowners, art dealers and gallerists such as Christophe van de Weghe, Per Skarstedt, Dominique Levy and Stellan Holm. His work for this venerable list includes New York City apartments and lofts, private homes in the Hamptons and gallery spaces in Chelsea and uptown.

These interiors are full of iconic pieces of mid century furniture and fantastic art. I also love that there is an architectural element in just about every room, coffered ceiling, a wood paneled wall or windows from ceiling to floor.
He recently completed an upper west side apartment for art collectors, a Paris apartment in Saint Germain, the New York offices of the Calder Foundation, a downtown loft and several houses in the Hamptons.
